Electronic dance music- the new sound of the 21st century. It consists of a man pressing the play button on his macbook air and speaking unintelligible utterances to somehow successfully excite a ton of impressionable young men and women in an open plane. I don’t understand this new era’s music transition.
Just 10 years ago, we had incredible vocalists, like Amy Winehouse, Mariah Carey, and Carrie Underwood, who dazzled their fans with incomparable vocal acrobatics during their concerts. Yes, some spurts of old music can be seen in the lights of Lady Gaga, Ed Sheehan, and Adele, but, for the most part, people choose to go to these disparaging, degrading EDM concerns, shying the commoner’s eyes away from real, rudimentary music.
Call me a hipster, call my a crazy, pompous college student, but I have a right to exercise my freedom of speech, and I will forever do that.
