Blog 24- Bakery Review: Levain Bakery

Levain Bakery

Photos cred to Chloe Kim

Last weekend, my friend Joonhee and I went to Levain Bakery, which was located in 167 W 74th St New York. When we got there, we saw crowded people lining along the street, and we could quickly notice that the crowds were lining for Levain Bakery. The Levain Bakery Cookies had hit New Yorkers and everyone was eager to line up and get delectable cookies. So, we did that. We lined up for more than 20 minutes to get inside the store. I had tasted all four flavors: chocolate chip walnut, oatmeal raisin, dark chocolate-chocolate chip, and dark chocolate peanut butter chip cookies. Personally, I loved the chocolate chip walnut the most. I usually do not like nuts in my bread and cookies but the walnuts in the chocolate chip walnut cookies were different. They were amazing. The cookies were soft inside and chocolate was melting, but the outside of cookies were crunchy. I love eating cookies from Levain Bakery, and I already ate all five cookies- they are big- in three days. I recommend all of you to try Levain Bakery cookies at least once.
