Microscopic Surgery

The university of Arizona has put a lot of time and research into a new surgical technology. This technology uses dies to project an image of the patients scar tissues and organs. This technology allows surgeons to have greater accuracy when performing surgery as well as a better outcome. This invention could bring great versatility to the medical field. Specifically microscopic surgery is usually done when involved neurology so this will just increase the accuracy. The way the technology works is it uses dye to color specific parts of the body and uses a microscope to take images of where the surgeon is performing their task and the image is presented on a computer screen in real time.
