Google has teamed up with Ford and Uber to further advancements in making self-driving cars. This is a huge advancement because regardless of whether people are good drivers or bad drivers everyone will be able to get around. People such as war-veterans who are handicapped can now take their self-driving car and get to where they need to go. The self-driving car works by having signals throughout the vehicle. These sensors can sense objects like other cars, pedestrians, or cyclists about 200 yards away. Google is testing these vehicles throughout the nation. The two cars that they are using are a prototype they built and a modified Lexus SUV. Soon enough no one will have to drive because technology will do it for us.
