Founding Farmers

Founding Farmers is a restaurant which is well-known for brunch and lunch. It locates in Washington, D.C., Montgomery, Maryland, and Tyson. All ingredients from Founding Farmers are from 40,000 family farmers from North Dakota farms. The motto of Founding Farmers is using fresh ingredients from sources they know and handle the food in good-conditioned kitchens. They are serving high quality food which was cooked with fresh ingredients. They bake their own bread, grind their own beef, press their own juice, and churn their own butter. As they focus their ingredients are good and fresh, I feel that it really is.

My friends and I went Founding Farmers which located in Washington, D.C. for brunch on Sunday. I had a fresh strawberries and crème stuffed French toast. I usually do not eat French toast in the restaurant because it’s just the bread with the butter. However, this stuffed French toast was special. The soft and creamy vanilla pastry cream was filled in the toast and strawberries were topped on the toast. My friends got chicken and waffles and poached egg hashes. All dishes were very good, and the price was very reasonable. I recommend this restaurant if you are planning to go to Washington, D.C.!
