Automata

Automata: I have recently watched this movie. Some of the conversations between human and robot are very interesting. The main character says, “I know men, they will kill you all.” The robot response, “to die, we have to be alive first.” It shows that the main character already admits that the robots are not just machines. They have their own life. Because of the bad environment on the earth, human are dying. The main character says, “We are going to disappear.” The robot responses, “look at me, I was born from the hands of human, I was imagined by human brains, your time will live in us.” The robot thinks they are the new generation of human who can survive in the bad environment of the earth. In the movie, they prove that they have ability to create next generation of robot. They are like human who can live, reproduce, and die. When people want to kill the robot and says, “why it is so difficult for you to obey my order if you are just a machine,” the robot respond, “just a machine? That just like saying you’re just an ape.”
