What does mobility mean?

In this current day, technological advances have given new meaning to mobility. Personally, mobility to me means being able to communicate with others, regardless of my location. I am able to do work remotely or submit class assignments from the comfort of my own home, or at a hotel if I'm away. This also means we are able to collaborate with other people easily. Making it easy to conduct business thanks to video chatting and applications like google docs that allow multiple people from remote locations to work on a single project.

As technology advances, the meaning of mobility will change as well. 20 years ago, beepers and walkmens were what defined mobility. Now, with the advances that will sure change.
