Online anything

I love poker. As a math nerd and former strategy lead of my robotics team, who also happens to like money, poker is the perfect game for me. Playing with people who don’t know what they’re doing is essentially free money. But, like anything else, perfecting your game takes lots of practice. In the old days, that meant spending a lot of money to lose in a casino. However, now a days, online poker is so popular than I can google “free online poker” and be playing with real people in two minutes. Playing in person is a lot more fun, and people definitely play differently online than in person, but those details aside, playing online is a great way to improve your game and develop a better understanding of how most people play in given situations.

Having the internet as a recourse to everything is a blessing. Of course it’s not just practice. Now-a-days anyone can google a subject and become proficient in an inspired evening.
