Learning Programing

Why people have to learn programing? In my opinion, everybody will learn some basis of programing in the future because technologies have been proved very fast. People will not only know how to use those technologies, they also have to know how to communicate with those technologies to ask them to do something. I heard a news says the high schools in the USA will add the basic programing course which means if you want to graduate from high school, you have to complete the programing course. It also prove that people realize how important programing does in the future.
