Facebook asks you: what’s on your mind. People tend to post nice things on social media, things that they feel good about, things that they are proud. They feel praised seeing those nice comments and that push them to post more. There are some internet celebrity exist on social media, they show off their life every day, post about fancy life and stuff, and they got millions of followers. I once read about an experiment a girl did. She pretended to be one of these popular Instagram users for three months. Posting pictures of her outfit and her every meal. She made her life the kind of life every people dreamed of. She became a popular user on Instagram and after these three months, she told everyone the truth: she is not the person who they thought she is. Everything she posted on Instagram is a lie. She did not own a fancy life. She is just like everyone else, busy for living and sometime eating junk food for lunch. Surprisingly, her honesty brought her more followers. These days, there’s no lack of this kind of people on social media. They build up their real fantasies but actually live a boring empty life. I hope there are less pathetic people like them and I wish your life as beautiful as what you posted.
