`Oscar Wilde’s novel, “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” is directed by Kristine Leadbetter in the Staller Center of Stony Brook University. It is a famous novel about a man, Dorian Gray, who is a main character of the novel don’t get age for a long time with keeping his own secret which is he doesn’t get the age on his body, but his portrait gets age on behalf Dorian Gray’s real body. Therefore for keeping his secret, he commits a crime and his portrait get the age with ugly facial appearance. So he stabs his portrait by a knife, but when the servants come up to look the Dorian’s room, they see one ugly old man who is stabbed with the knife alongside Dorian Gray’s beautiful portrait. I saw this novel when I was young, I know the story, but I never see the play. The play, which is played by students is wonderful and the actors show great performance.

I think telephone conversations should not be allowed on airplanes except emergency situation. Normally, when we are taking the airplane, we should turn off the phone, for not interrupting airplane’s departure. So too much using Wi-Fi service, can effect on antenna signal. Also today’s many people couldn’t live without smart phone, so if Wi-Fi service on air plane is generalized, all the people in the air plane would use the service and it would interrupt other passengers’ trip.

Todays, can be used during the flights on the U.S territories. Transmitter of the airplane work with a ground station so it makes Wi-Fi could work on the airplane. There are currently two methods in use, Airplane Wi-Fi and Satellite communication. Many airplane provide Wi-Fi service with small fee. Transmitters communicate with the ground station through a satellite connection or using radio waves. Satellite communication use satellite antenna on the air plane and connect with satellite around the earth and ground station on the earth.

Kickstarter is one of largest funding platform, crowdfunding, a company like Indiegogo, Crowdfunder. The crowdfunding is that artists or social entrepreneur who don’t have seed money for making their project or business venture show their project on online and raise money to fund through many nameless donors who using the websites, such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and Crowdfunder. First crowd funding platform is Indiegogo which started at 2008, but largest crowdfunding platform is Kickstarter. This company started at 2009. I think this funding platform is successful because it’s total dollars pledged to Kickstarter projects is 1,993,792,881 dollars and successfully funded projects 93,584 dollars. Total backers are 9,581,074 and repeat backers are 2,957,516 and total pledges 25,760,668.

We can see this crowdfunding platform is successful and it going to be huge in the few year.

“We don’t ever want to sell or go public,” Kickstarter CEO Yancey Strickler told the New York Times. In an announcement posted on its website, Kickstarter said, "More and more voices are rejecting business as usual and the pursuit of profit above all," Digital Trends cited. "Positive impact on society becomes part of a benefit corporation's legally defined goals."

In technically, the status of public benefit corporation has not any influence on the company’s legal practice. Kickstarter chose to live as a B Corp. Altruism is Kickstarter chose it not a business.

In my opinion, email is no longer enough to facilitate digital collaboration at work, but not for Gmail. Usually, existing emails such as Hotmail, Yahoo etc. don’t have any development except Gmail. People always want to use the email easily but another email except Gmail, they keep to stay the same status. Therefore, if there is any improvement for other email company, the people who use Gmail will increase gradually.

Google made a new contents Google apps for work. Inside of this contents, Gmail, Calendar, Hangouts, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites and Vault can use altogether. These apps can work in the work usefully. So, we can replace these apps for existing apps which people used in the work. Especially Google Apps for Work for business is more developing for using the apps easily. In the course of time, a lot of company will use Google apps for work, not email.

There is another reason why another email has to lose their influence on the web and also Google Apps for Work will take digital collaboration for next level, Google keeps to try to collaborate their apps steadily. Google starts the new service, its names are “Google Inbox by Gmail” This app is another system of Gmail, Gmail, and management of schedule are collaborated so email can separate and combine according to user’s schedule automatically. Gmail user can use Gmail and Google Inbox both. This app can see the Gmail in the different perspective. Google keep trying to take digital collaboration for next level.

I normally use Google Apps for Education we have here at Stony Brook University such as Gmail, Google Calendar. It is so impressive, Gmail can add another account, so I can add up school account into Gmail. Before School doesn’t have any connection with Gmail, I never get into School email. However after using Gmail, I check the email every day because Gmail alert me all the time. It helps my life a lot.

A subscription service is a circulation service which if customers want to experience a new product at a cheap price, so they pay fixed amount to the company and get the various products every month. This model was developed by companies of magazine and newspaper. Nowadays, many business and websites use this model.

Subscription snack box service is using the home delivery system, and it has various snacks around the world so a customer can taste varied snacks what they want every month. This business model was grown fast over last few years.

One of the successful subscription snack box service companies is Nature Box. Nature Box. It started at 2012, in 2014, they announced that Nature Box’s value increased 18M, it was 2,000% revenue growth. Nature Box is also using subscription service but they put discrimination on the delivery system than other subscription companies. Nature Box chose the delivery strategy, a direct-to-consumer business model. This model is the food company who sales their products in supermarkets or stores sales their products directly to their customers using monthly prescription without store selling. Now, 52 percent of United States’ consumers are ordering the healthy goodies from the online website brands what they trust. Nature Box brought the golden age to the nourishing snack box industry by using subscription service model.

A subscription makes up service industry would grow fast every year. The customer of the company who using subscription business model is people who stay in the house every day. Usually, women live as a housewife. These women stay house all day so they have chances to read subscription and order products. So best consumers of the company are the housewife. Also normally, women always care about their skin or makeup. So if the subscription makes up company focus on the housewife, it would be a success in the subscription industry.

Nowadays, many companies use the social network service like LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter etc. Because companies want to know their new employee lifestyle and tendency how to they live with their family and friends or coworkers. (Jobvite_SocialRecruiting_Survey2014) In a perspective on companies, these companies need to recruit new employees who have good ability for companies’ profit and future. For taking the higher goal, companies also need to recruit new employees who know teamwork and show ability on fields. Therefore, companies could see new employees’ life with their family and friends through the social network service to estimate how new employees adapt new atmosphere and make harmony with the coworkers. If companies don’t use the social networking service and they recruit a new employee who has a bad attitude for work. Who is going to take responsibility for that? That would be rest of team members. For recruiting the good employee, companies need to use all equipment they can use.

We might think that using social media would be the good effect on our job search or would be bad effect on our job search. In a positive way, we can use as a résumé. Many employers used LinkedIn to find their employee’s profile such as photo, work experience, education, and volunteer etc. In a paper résumé, we couldn’t put much information about our life but using social media, it could make many chances to show us. In a negative way, using social media could show us too much and always care our behavior on the website. If we always conscious of that our employer check my social media, we need to care our language all the time and behave formally even on the web. I did google myself but I didn’t find myself nothing specifically. I could find the information people who have name “Chang Hyeon Lee” on Facebook or LinkedIn and Wikipedia. In Facebook. Closest my friend who has a name “Chang Hyeon Lee” is on the top of the web page and A famous person who have name Chang Hyeon Lee is on the next line of the web page. Bottom of the web page, I see the person who has similar name to my name. In LinkedIn, there are resumes of people who have name “Chang Hyeon Lee”. I can see their careers and their jobs. In Wikipedia, I can see a football player who has a name “Chang Hyeon Lee”. I can read personal information and his club information and his club career and statistics and link about him.

I think if employers need information about employees, they need to search Facebook and LinkedIn, not Google. Because I can see the information about famous people, not just normal people in Google. In Facebook and LinkedIn, employers can see employees’ life and their career.

If employers try to find me on online, they can’t find me exactly. There is no information about me because I didn’t use SNS usually. However if they look up the information about me, I will upload my profile and my life so they can see my life, career and think.

Nowadays, Internet world is very wide and many information on the web and this world is still progressive. In the offline world, there are thieves. These thieves steal peoples’ important stuff. For preventing these thieves illegal behavior, police make the security stronger and try to know how thieves steal people’s stuff. Likewise in the online world, there are hackers. These hackers steal people’s important information and then they sell the information to others who try to use the information badly. For preventing hacker’s illegal behavior, security protectors recruit white hackers, computer security specialist. Speakers said that hackers help us to make more strong security system. They broke the security system and show that how this security system so weak and then people can build up the more useful system. I agree with this idea, hackers know how to break the system and try to break the system what people are using on the web. So if people use them as white hackers who build up the more strong security system, people must use their advantage. The online world is huge and still developing that means its’ code on the web is very complicated. So people need more specialist about hacking and hackers.

Hacking should be treated as an illegal activity is the wrong idea. If Hackers use hacking as an illegal behavior, that’s the illegal activity. However if they use hacking to get the criminals’ information and stop criminal’s crime, that’s the legal activity. People need to see ‘how to use hacking’ and not only ‘hacking’. In Asian old saying, "If you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles." People want to protect their system, they need to know the hackers and add value the hacking.

Samsung always provides Galaxy note with most high quality. So new Galaxy note 6 would provide with various function and high quality. CPU of Galaxy note 6 would be same Galaxy S7's CPU which is Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820 possibly. But there is another possibility about CPU to include Snapdragon 823 inside Galaxy note 6 for high-quality multitasking. Also, 6GB REM, large storage, and memory managing system are producing now so huge synergy of two technologies is expecting now.  Samsung smartphone use fingerprint technology until now, but they could use iris recognition function on new Galaxy note 6. In my opinion, now Samsung lead the smartphone market. But if they want to lead the market completely, it would come out with creative technology.

Last year, new iPhone 6s came out, but it somewhat lacked creativity. So people' expectation of new iPhone 7 is very high. Inside of iPhone 7,  A10 chip which is upgraded processor would be included, and new mobile OS, iOS 10 would be provided. But the size of display and resolution would be keeping like iPhone 6s. For supporting smooth multitasking, 3GB REM possibly loads on new iPhone 7, but it would take 2GB REM more. I talked about new smartphone before, it was about that new smartphone must be creative, the company must show off new function or new technology which is no one expected, but the company, Apple, degenerated as the creative leader to normal smartphone company which provides service, everybody could expect their next.

Zappos’ CEO, Tony Hsieh’s management style is not same as other huge company’s management style. It seems like freewheeling management style, also, it looks like no rule in the company’s atmosphere. However, I don’t think it is disorder management. It is future-oriented style.

Before I talk about Tony Hsieh’s management style, I want to clear the meaning of leaders. What are leaders? Leaders are in the top position in the company, they lead companies and their employees usually. Also, they need to think about their companies’ future all the time. That’s the leader and leader’s job

Usually, company’s leader is only one, but Tony Hsieh chooses different way. He sent an email to his employees and new management system “Holacracy”. Holacracy means it demolishes group’s order of rank. All members in the company are the same position and work together. He gives up the position “leader” in the company. I think that it is shocked but it was the best choice for company’s future. All the members’ influence is better than one leader’s influence. Apple and Microsoft or many huge companies had one powerful leader. But it means the company needs to find someone who can replace this influential leader. After Steve jobs death, Apple boggled in the smart phone industry. Also, after Bill gates resign in Microsoft, they didn’t show creative movement in their industry. They just follow the trend or do the same thing like other companies do. Holacracy, maybe it looks like the gamble.

Apple watch is battering that android watch, There is five special advantage which Android watch doesn’t have it.

First, mobile payment through NFC chip and ‘Apple Pay’ expected to make our life better. This function helps our shopping with only Apple watch, the NFC chip can replace to public transportation and access card very soon. However Android don’t have this system yet, they just started so Apple rule the mobile payment system for the while.

Second, Music is an application which is used most in a smartphone, but not for the smart watch, of course, many application would develop for the smartwatch, Apple watch has own music application, Shazam. Especially, Shazam is a company and a program provide music service basically, and it search music for the customer by voice recognition.

Third, the biggest strength of apple watch is that Apple’s mobile OS, iOS is on the Apple watch. Design based on the soft curve, and useful database, non-stopped the execution. All these things make Apple watch more successful.

Fourth, there is a new technique, it called “force touch.” Force Touch is a special technique developed by Apple that sensor felt the level of force applied on a touchpad or similar display surface and responds accordingly. Force Touch is using tiny electrodes around the display to find out the difference between taps and harder presses, and then it gives a precise action or contextually precise controls based on the force of the input.

Last, as we are known, Apple had a trouble with Apple watch’s passion. Basically ‘watch’ is one of important passion item, so Apple could not ignore this point. Apple gives three line up, Apple watch sports, Apple watch, Apple watch edition with various colors and various quality of scrap and buckle. The price of the watch is so different depending on these choices.

Yamaha Restio ISX-80
Yamaha lifestyle audio product has two features which have a Bluetooth and light fixture, docking audio and alarm system. Yamaha introduces ISX-80 which includes network audio and a wall clock. This product's size is 30cm wide and 30cm long. The name of the product is "Restio." This product is more simplified than old version product. But I don't understand which part is Yamaha concentrated on the product. Design? Technology? This product just looks like the old clock. I don't think people are going to buy this product.

Nowadays, many huge companies focus on developing the robot and the Intelectual technology. The robots could elaborate on the work and Intelectual technology could calculate better than people. Therefore, many engineers want to collaborate these two technologies together. Then it could be a cyborg. So it could make people live comfortable but it could ruin people's live also. Too much comfortableness makes people lazy and it affect to people badly.

According to the industries of display and the parts, Apple focus on touch sensor which is based on AgNW and dual camera which could work on dual autofocus in Taiwan R&D center. AgNW is a material to provide high quality in display and flexibility and touch sensor which is based on ITO.  Dual camera have hide function. It is a dual autofocus. It contains two image sensor and lens so it could provide shooting performance more bright and vivid image. When I heard this news, I disappointed so much to Apple, of course, these technologies could provide Iphone's function better but, it is not creative anymore, it seems that they just walk with other companies on the same line.
