upgrades

Some technology needs to be upgraded more often than others. I'll need to get a new phone every few years, but at home my fridge has been there for almost as long as I have. Yes, there are new fridges on the market, but it's not an item that people are always buying. We don't really need to be getting new phones so often. The phones main purpose still works, but there's something new and better being advertised that we need to get our hands on. There's no real reason that we have to get a new phone. A lot of the purchases of new phones are probably from returning customers who are just trying to get a better version of what they already have. A small handful of them are actually buying a phone for the first time.
