landline

My mother recently got rid of our landline. Nowadays we don't really need a landline because of everyone having a mobile phone. The majority of people will have some form of mobile phone, making a landline mostly unnecessary. In some situations it may be beneficial but it is an easy way to save money if we only use our mobiles. A dozen years ago this would be more uncommon, but cell phones are becoming very integrated with our daily lives and society as a whole.
