trains to tablets
Children's toys are moving from wooden trains to Apple iPads. It's getting more and more expensive to shop for the youth. When they grow past the age of the action figure, the children crave things like video games, or iPhones. I have seen 10 year olds who have their own iPhone and tablet. Their faces are glued to a screen more often than they are exploring the outdoors or playing with friends. I'm not sure of the long-term psychological effects of this, but it doesn't seem like it is the proper approach to buy preteens every tablet and smartphone they can lay their eyes on.
