I couldn't be more grateful that stony brook has given their athletes an iPad. There intention in giving their athletes iPads was to increase their academic opportunities which will than increase their athletic opportunities in the long run. I find my iPad the most useful thing that I use here. Myself personally I do not have many games on my iPad, I almost solely use it for school purposes and I love it. It's much easier carrying around an iPad rather than a laptop for many reasons. The biggest reason why I like carrying my iPad over my laptop is because my laptop is extremely heavy in comparison to my iPad. I can do almost anything I can do on my laptop that I can do on my iPad, it is a very useful tool. After my four years are up at stony brook, I have to give my iPad back to the university, but I believe that I will invest in buying myself an iPad because I think it is so helpful.
