Oculus Rift

I didn't know about this gadget about i heard about it in this class, and couldn't be more confused at first. So i looked it up and realized what it is and what it meant. It is a means of putting yourself into an alternate universe. Seeing the things you could do with this, i realized that this would have a huge impact on medicine. It could be used by medical students to actually perform surgery, similar to the leap, but it would be more realistic. This gadget is amazing but could also be used for bad purposes. If spent too much using this the person could be "sucked" into the alternate world and could potentially lose sense of reality.
