Firefox vs Google Chrome

Since the development of the world wide web, internet explorer has become one of many applications to access the internet. There are many web applications to choose from. Two that I have found to be most popular in my experience are firefox and google chrome. Everyone has a preference to anything and everything and it's to be expected to have a favorite/preferred web browser. So I wonder why do people choose one over the other, more specifically why firefox? or why google chrome? I'm no mind reader to all internet users but I can explain my preference. I am 'google chrome user.' Why? Because of the convience it offers. I use google as my search engine because I feel like it gives results fastest and is most direct. But then again I haven't used firefox so much to be comfortable with using. So what makes a person choose which search engine or web browser to use? Is it the aesthetics? The convenience of one over the other? What are your reason for using your web browser?
