Blog Post 20

“No, I would never give my son that vaccine, it will give him autism!” I remember hearing this words being exclaimed towards my pediatrician a few years ago. These are some of these most ignorant, asinine words I’ve ever heard in my life. But, I can’t blame the mother, she doesn’t know any better. It is the educator’s fault for not teaching us about the differences between the truths and the fallacies.
Additionally, the media thrives in misinforming the ignorant with such fallacies, therefore putting younger populations at exponentially higher risks for diseases and heard immunity. Wishfully thinking, if educators did inform the ignorant that the truth is that the anti-vaccine study was completely false and fabricated, there wouldn’t be nearly as many breakouts of viruses like measles, since everyone is immune to the virus already.

In short, we need to be more informed.
