3D Printing and Medicine

Being a pre-med student i like to be updated on all of the advances going on in medicine. There have been many discoveries about how 3d printing can be involved in many situations. Before, the only way someone could get a new organ was through a transplant from another person, now we have come far as to be able to 3d print human organs with necessary stem cells that work exactly the same as human organs. Scientists are developing ways to be able to 3d print bones, blood vessels and hearts among others. The future of medicine relies very heavily on technology now and has come very far from medicine back then.
