The Extinction of Book Stores
Since the production of kindles, ibooks, and the nook the need for physical books has diminished drastically. Since books can be found at your fingertips anywhere and anytime, book stores are also not in demand anymore. This is one aspect of technology that makes me wistful for the older days. One of my favorite pass time activities to do is to browse through book stores, finding the book I've been waiting for to come out and seeing how the book finally turned out to be. It is so different reading a physical book and seeing the length of it compared to reading books online or through my phone. The satisfaction of reading a long book is not as effective when it's read through an electronic device. With the extinction of book stores people will turn farther away from reading books in its' physical form thus making people miss the many wonderful aspects that come along from reading a book in its' physical form.
