Leap Motion and Medicine

The leap motion has just recently been presented to me, and ever since i saw it i have been interested in how it works, because to people in the past and even to me it seems like magic. "Playing" with the leap motion in class i found one program on the leap. It was a medical program that let you look and examine the hearts of other animals. Being a health science student this automatically interested me. I realized that the leap can be used for fun but it could also play a big part in medical schools and medical students training to be physicians. This could be used to examine bodies and structures without having to dissect cadavers. And would work the same because the student would have to perform the same movements that they would on a real life cadaver. However with the large amount of students, schools may not be able to keep up with getting the proper amount of training for students, so the leap would be just as an effective option.
