How does a sport/a team/a player influence millions of children to change their stance? Kids of all ages change their behavior in order to mimic their favorite sports stars. Are sports stars deserving of being idols of millions of children and teenagers? I remember as a child, manipulating my baseball swing to interpret my favorite baseball players. Or only wanting to use a David Wright glove. While there are athletes (Tom Brady, David Wright, Derek Jeter, etc.) that are model citizens and show children the way the game is supposed to be played, there are athletes that are poor influences on children.
