Roulette
I took this picture: The
Evil Roulette!
Roulette is a casino game, in which
players may choose to place bets. Roulette players have a variety of betting
options. The players could bet on red or black, either a single number or a
range of numbers, or whether the number is odd or even.
When I played the roulette machine,
I bet on either red or black. Once I get to learn how frequently the numbers
showing up on the roulette machine, I started to bet on numbers, such as 7, 17,
33, 34 etc. I earned some money on betting numbers, and I thought I could bet
on a zero to get more money, and it was time for betting on that. I had bet on
zeroes for more than fifteen plays, and finally I had earned a little bit of
money, which was only small portion of what I bet.
I used to think that people should
not play games in the casino, since it’s illegal in the United States and many other
countries; there is a reason for it being illegal. So, when I went to the
casino, I restricted the amount of money that I was going to spend for “entertaining”.
I planned to use only $40, but once I played the game, I spent $140. I went to
the ATM machine to get cash out. So, eventually I lost money even though I won
a bit. And I’d like to end this blog post with this comment: Gambling, the sure
way of getting nothing for something.
