Facebook is probably the most popular app on people's phones. Not "popular" in the sense where people are constantly checking it, but popular in the sense where most people have an account on it and have the application on their phone or use it on their laptops. Facebook has been around for quite a while. Kids were always excited to get one when their parents allowed it. I know I got the allowance to make one around the age of 13. Nowadays, kids are getting them at even younger ages. This shows how technology is impacting the younger generations. Facebook allows for posts of links, photos, text, videos, etc. You can "like" someone's post, "react" to someone's post, share someone's post, or comment. Instead of simply viewing someone's profile on Instagram, on Facebook you need to send them a friend request. Facebook allows your to enter your job and educational information for employers or just curious people. It also displays your interests, hobbies and birthday. It even shows if you're single or married! As you can tell, it is very personal and intricate compared to Instagram or Snapchat.
