Blog 16- Zion National Park

Zion National Park

The photo was taken by me

Zion National Park is located in Utah, the United States. Zion National Park is 229-square-mile and 15 miles long and up to half a mile deep. Native Americans had lived in Zion Canyon about 8,000 years ago.
Zion National Park was too big to walk along the canyon, so our group had to move along while we were in the car. Also, the canyon was preserved really well, and even tigers were living in the deep valleys of Zion Canyon.
The weather of the canyon was unpredictable because I wore long-sleeve T-shirts and jackets even it was spring of Utah, which was supposed to be warm.

People can take trails with round-trip to Taylor Creek and Kolob Arch. Hiking up into canyons is also popular in summer. People also can do lodging in the Park at Zion Lodge. I recommend people to visit Zion Canyon.

The new iPhone 6s is came up few weeks ago, but it seems like it is defeated by popularity of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I was an Samsung Galaxy S3 user few several years ago and until these days Samsung continued with the Galaxy series, but they were not look good to me. However, finally they made something different based on the what reviewers said when it compare to new iPhone 6s. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has much bigger screen as always with expendable memory up to 256GB and better battery life than new iPhone 6s.

Hoverboard

Hover board

The first time I saw a hover board, it reminded me of the movie Wall.E and how the people were so obese they couldn't even walk. I think the hover board is just an invention made for extremely lazy people. I found it quite funny whenever I saw someone using one because they are not really that fast,  compare to skateboard, so there isn't really a big difference between someone walking and someone using a hover board. Also they are so dangerous, like they catch fire for no reason. I'm glad that people are not allowed to go on the streets with them. People should just walk, be more healthier.

YouTube

I just have one feeling for YouTube, I love it. You can find anything you want. If you want to find a recipe and actually see how is done, look it up on YouTube. If you are trying to learn a new mathematic concept and need more visual examples, go to YouTube. Or if you want to spend the whole afternoon playing good music, go to Youtube. Also it amazing how you can start Youtube watching a video of fails and end up watching a video of a flying cat. Some many things to choose from. YouTube is just amazing

Wearable technology is new trend form last summer. According to CCS Insight the global wearable technology market this new trend will be on its momentum for over the next five year. However, there are still many obstacles to make every person to buy wearable technology. The biggest problem is how to make battery that last long enough to make device as an useful tool in our daily lives. We already tired of taking charger everywhere to save our dying phones, so it would be really terrible if the battery of wearable technology only last for few hours, so we need to take it out from our wrist and charge it beside our phones.

Portable game console

When I was a kid, I was a big fan of portable game console such as GameBoy, Nintendo DS, PSP. I'm still a fan, I have a PS Vita. I portable game console are such a great invention because you don't have limited yourself to only play video games when you are home, you can play them anywhere you want. The best part is that you don't need internet to use them, so if you are camping or in a place where there is no internet and you are dying of boredom, you can play your portable game console. I think portable game console are perfect  to distract you when you are in a plane or in bus for a long time.

New Trend in China

I read the new article about technological trend in China and it is quite related to their own cultural tradition. The article said Gold iPhones are statues symbols in China. Chinese doesn't want to have pink, rose, white or anything but Gold. Black iPhone is considered as most uncool. I understand how much Chinese are love to have gold, just by looking at their old buildings and clothes. Old kings and queens in China thought that gold symbolizes fortune and wealthy and this idea is still remains in modern society. I surprised when I read this article which showed how culturally different idea can influence choice of buying technological device.
