Selfish even in death

Humans have been working towards a path for immortality since we realised that we will die. Imagine you could buy a robot that would be able to take over your life seamlessly when you die. It would have your style of thinking and expression wired into them and so they acted exactly the same and you could even design them to look identical. Would you buy it?  To find an answer to this question each person must decide between the narcissistic part of themselves that want to be missed and the empathetic part that wants to continue creating output on Earth and allow their loved ones to circumvent the horror of grief.
