Im starting to think that our ability to innovate is reaching its peak. Consider the new PS4 controller. There are so many gizmos on their that are just pointless. There is speaker fitted on the controller. There is an led light on the back of it. and it had accelerometers. All these to just play a game.
THEY AREN'T NECESSARY.
It seems that companies are just adding items to just standout. The speaker and LED don't enhance gameplay at ll. But average guy would think: xbox doesn't have that feature so i will instead go with this one. And xbox is no less. In short, the market is becoming saturated with "what can we slap on" and unsaturated with true innovation.
