In my opinion, technology really aids will a lot of things -
education wise. Google is the mastermind that you can ask almost any question
and you will get the answer (or multiple answers). You can ask that homework
question that you don’t know the answer to, how to do calculus, basically
anything that comes to mind. And you can get this answer in seconds. So, this
is helpful for people who forgot about their assignment and as they’re walking
to class, they simple take out their phones and look up the questions that they
were assigned to answer and voila, your homework is now done and you are an
awesome and prepared student.
I’m very thankful
for the internet. Whenever I miss a math lecture, I can always trust that the
lecture will be online at some point so
I can catch up and replay lessons as many times as I need. Many people
complain that we rely on internet too much but why complain if in the end
you’re learning new things?
I know that everyone
has had that moment at 3 am when suddenly you’re curious how far Mars is from
Earth and so you look at your extremely bright-screened iPhone and ask Siri.
Now, whenever someone asks you how far Mars is from the Earth, you now know
that it is 48,678,219 miles. (And now you also sound like a genius)
In conclusion,
the technology has some pretty amazing perks. You can learn some interesting
stuff that you never knew before by just the clicks of a few buttons. And who
knows, maybe one day you’ll end up on Jeopardy and they ask you how far Mars is
from the Earth and now you’ve just won a thousand dollars. (I just Googled how
much money one can win on Jeopardy)
