Air plane technology

Today my cousin flew in to visit from California with her 2 year old son. It was crazy to think about how many times he has been on a plane in his short life and I have never been on a plane before. The technology is used so common that it's taken for granted, especially for newer generations that literally grow up on such vehicles.
