An important piece of technology that has greatly impacted everyone’s lives is the automobile. Our whole world revolves around cars. Roads dominate a great chunk of land, connecting everyone’s driveways with pavement. You can travel across the country on these roads, all because of our use of the car. Businesses will sprout up along major roads, trying to reap in as much money as they can. For most people, in order to live in this country, they need to own a car. There are ways of getting around owning one, like if you live in a place with good public transportation or if you can easily bike everywhere you need; the majority of people will one day purchase a car, simply because it is a necessity in modern society.
