Music Therapy
According to the American Music Therapy Association, music therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of the music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program. There have been lots of studies saying that adolescents obtain many benefits from listening to music, including emotional, social, and daily life benefits and it also helps forming their identity. It has been scientifically proven that music can improve an adolescent's mood by reducing stress and lowering anxiety levels, which can also help by preventing depression. Listening to music can also help you with heart disease and neurological disorders such as amnesia, dementia and Alzheimer's.
