Plastic Guns

The emergence of 3D printing very exciting. 3D has brought drawing to life, allowing engineers, architects, artists, and students develop tangible models they conceptualized in their minds. It could mean advancements in medicine also, rapidly and cheaply manufacturing limbs and bone cavities and much more. They give anyone the freedom to design and build what they want.

With that being said. Freedom implies bought good intentions and bad intentions. Some people can choose to use the power of 3D printing for violence and evil. Anyone can design parts on a computer and assemble the gun together on their own printer. They can distribute designs and and etc. In all seriousness, the development of 3D printing throws gun legislation and gun safety out the window.  The scariest part is that anyone can take them on a plane because simple metal detectors wont be able to detect them. More so, what if this is just beginning. What if 3D printing gives way to more deadly weaponry that can be easily distributed and assembled by anyone, even those with the wrong hands?
