GMOs Are GOOD

GMOs are probably one of the most feared technology today. ONE. I understand drones, bombs, guns are scary too, but GMOs are somewhere on that list. People are continuously trying to avoid them and even the EU banned them and and the import of any products containing them. But what is so scary? It has lead to quicker and more production of produce. That means cheaper food for poor countries. Also, people are afraid that the modified nucleic acids would alter the bacteria in digestive tracks of humans and cause widespread incurable illness. While bacteria do posses the ability to uptake DNA from their surroundings and other bacteria, nucleic acids cannot survive stomach acids.
